AUTHOR'S GUIDE FOR MANUSCRIPT PREPARATION

All presenters are invited to submit manuscript for publication of conference proceedings
in the periodical “Key Engineering Materials”, Trans Tech Publications Ltd.

Only original paper will be accepted for Contributed Paper. Review or original paper will be accepted for Plenary, Keynote or invited speakers.

| These instructions have been written specifically for the ISIEM 2013 proceedings. You are kindly requested to follow these instructions closely. This will help to speed up the refereering process and avoid any unnecessary delay in publishing your manuscript. |
| 1. ESSENTIAL INFORMATION |
Please read the instruction carefully and submit your extended abstract between 2013 Oct. 14th to Nov. 15th. Papers submitted after 2013 Nov. 15th will not be accepted.
Paper will be reviewed by 2 or more experts in the field. Notification of your paper status (Accepted without or with corrections, Rejected) will be sent to you in December.
Authors will receive free online "author access" via their email address (as it appears in the paper). Via this access they will be able to download their papers as PDF and order reprints online. |
| 2. COPYRIGHT |
| By submitting the manuscript for publication, the authors transfer the copyright of their manuscripts to Trans Tech Publications. Should the papers contain figures or tables taken from other sources, it is taken for granted that the authors have solicited the respective permissions for reproduction from the corresponding publishers. |
| 3. MANUSCRIPTS |
| Online submission, review and editing |
All the paper submission, reviewing and editing procedures shall be done using the Trans Tech editor tool. Complete instructions about using this online tool to submit a manuscript or review a submitted paper will be send to all ISIEM 2013 participants who have submitted an abstract for an oral or poster communication.

| Language |
| Trans Tech publishes only unpublished, peer-reviewed papers written in good English. |
| Manuscript length limitation |
Plenary speaker are limited to 8 pages (including figures and charts)
Keynote and Invited papers are limited to 6 pages (including figures and charts)
Contributed papers are limited to 4 pages (including figures and charts)
Shorter papers should not be included in the proceedings. |
